The Mac Jee Group, formed by Brazilian companies in the Defense and Aerospace segment, welcomed, on Thursday (October, 7), a delegation made up of 40 authorities, including military attaches and members of the Ministry of Defense and Seprod (Department of Products of Defense).
The delegation went to the Mac Jee factories, located in the cities of São José dos Campos and Paraibuna, in the State of São Paulo. Presentations were made about the company and about the main products, as well as a visitation in the facilities, which are undergoing expansion.
The visit was organized by the Ministry of Defense with a mission to show attaches the technologies produced by Brazilian industries that can be used in other countries in the areas of defense and security.
One of the highlights of the visit at Mac Jee was Armadillo. With innovative technology, the rocket launcher is currently one of Mac Jee’s big investments. It is a system mounted on 4×4 vehicles, extremely light and agile, prepared to meet the requirements of various screens. MK aerial munitions also attracted the attention of the attachés.
Paraibuna – At Paraibuna, the Ministry of Defense gave a coat of arms to Mac Jee Founder, Simon Jeannot. The delivery was made by the Namibian attaché, sea and war captain Alberto Haufiku Sizario. “On behalf of the MD and the military attachés, we would like to thank the opportunity to meet Mac Jee, which is an important company not only for Brazil but for the whole world, as many countries need this technology developed here,” said Sizario.
Before the tribute, Brigadier General Himário Brandão Trinas, from the Ministry of Defense, thanked Mac Jee reception. “I am proud to meet a 100% Brazilian industry, with such potential, and I am grateful for the company to receive and share its technology and products with all these Nations.”
General Himário also said that “it was a very positive surprise to see how the company is investing in technology, facilities and in the production of ammunition, and other products. It is a pleasure to see an industry in our Brazil with the greatness and potential that a Mac Jee presents”.
