Mac Jee Defesa, company that is part of the Mac Jee Group, was accredited this month by the Ministry of Defense (MD) as a Defense Company and its products were classified as Strategic Defense Products (PED). Now on Grupo Mac Jee is among the select group of companies accredited by the MD with products classified as strategic in view of the requirements of the Brazilian public defense and security forces.
Equipaer, which is part of the group, is already accredited as a Strategic Defense Company (EED), specializing in the development of products for the Air Force, such as air targets and rocket launchers.
According to the CEO of Grupo Mac Jee, Alessandra Stefani, this accreditation is extremely important for the company and seen as fundamental, as it will provide for the maintenance of the partnership with the Brazilian Armed Forces, the generation of jobs and investments in Brazil.
According to the CEO, this accreditation is also recognition for the investment that the Mac Jee Group makes in the development of technologies and innovations, which contributes to the strengthening of the Defense and Security Industrial Base (BIDS). “We have already consolidated operations in the Defense area and a diversified portfolio of products and services. It’s been more than 10 years investing in innovation and the daily search for new solutions with important differentials in the market”.
Alessandra Stefani pointed out that the accreditation of Mac Jee Defense as a Defense Company will make it possible to further explore the international market. “Obtaining this recognition from the Brazilian Ministry of Defense will certainly open up new paths and enable new strategies for Mac Jee.”
With facilitiesin São José dos Campos and Paraibuna, the group recently invested more than R$ 70 million in the expansion of two factories in the Vale do Paraíba region.
