The Importance of Innovation in Security and Defense Technology for Country Autonomy was the theme of the live held in July 2020 by Security Talks Avantia, which was attended by Mac Jee Project Manager, Márcio Corrêa da Silva Santos.
Responsible for the Armadillo project, the manager spoke a little about the work developed by Mac Jee and highlighted the technology used in the development of the company’s products. “Armadillo adds several technologies. It is a fast moving vehicle with high power. Allows you to load around 100 rockets. It has location gel, optronic visualization systems and even a meteorological center ”.
According to Márcio Corrêa da Silva Santos, the vehicle is being developed and will be produced in São José dos Campos. He praised the region and said it is a technology hub. “I have visited some companies. What Mac Jee looks for is to have these technologies available on the market and integrate with its own manpower ”.
He also commented that despite the current moment, the pandemic, the company continues with its expansion and growth plan. “Our activities are related to technology. Our project sector, for example, has adapted very well to remote work and we continue with hiring ”.
