Mac Jee President Simon Jeannot took part in a live on May 14, 2020, on DAN TV. The topic addressed was the Expansion of the Brazilian Company in the Defense Market. The interview, which lasted about two hours, has already had more than 5,000 views.
Simon Jeannot told a little about the company’s history, the decision to build in São José dos Campos and also about expectations for the future. “We were an importer that brought parts to the aerospace military sector. Since 2014 we have decided to reinvest the capital that we have accumulated in the development of products and solutions in the defense sector ”, declared the CEO.
São José dos Campos was chosen to host the company, according to Simon, for being known worldwide and for having a concentration of people with knowledge of the technology area linked to the defense and aerospace sector. “We currently have 60 employees and are investing more than R $ 120 million in two new plants in the region”.
The acquisition of Equipaer by Mac Jee was also an issue. The objective was to maintain logistical continuity, add bold technology and thereby increase the company’s portfolio.
